International Women’s Day is around the corner again, and just like last year, it’s going to be massive for us at Bumpa. Following the theme of this year’s IWD, “DigitALL: Innovation & Technology for Gender Equality”, we will be celebrating women around us who are trailblazers in the eCommerce industry, at our annual Bumpa Women’s Conference (BWC)!

Launched in 2022 and hosted on the 7th of March every year, BWC is a conference that marks IWD, and is a day set aside by Bumpa to host, celebrate and exalt the achievements of women around us. One of the opportunities that exist in an innovation & technology driven world, that allows for women to compete without the existing biases and prejudices is eCommerce, and business in general. We’re taking the opportunity of the IWD theme for 2023 to:

• Address how eCommerce has and continues to bridge the gender gap.

• Discuss and learn from the challenges female merchants face with launching and growing successful eCommerce brands in Nigeria

• Teach more women how technology can help them achieve their dreams

• Celebrate our female role models in eCommerce and Business.

Simply put, last year’s BWC was a showdown…and this year promises to be even bigger! There will be a lot to learn…and win!
