Bumpa x Shipbubble: Solving Business Logistics One Integration At A Time

Hi there. We are making logistics on Bumpa simpler! 

In our journey to bring all parts of the sales cycle under Bumpa’s 360 business experience, we are tackling logistics next with the release of our Order API. 

This might sound like big English but I’ll explain it better to you.

Think of Order API as the way we connect to respectable delivery/logistics providers to make fulfilling orders simpler for every business owner on Bumpa. 

With thousands of Bumpreneurs processing thousands of orders on our platform daily, it has become important for us to help make the delivery part of customer satisfaction a little easier and this is why we’ve launched our Orders API. 

So, from now and throughout 2024, we will be establishing different partnerships to help Bumpreneuers process orders faster. 

The first delivery partnership we're launching just before the end of 2023 is with ShipBubble!  

ShipBubble is a logistics aggregator: they provide businesses with access to multiple logistics providers such as SpeedAF, DHL, Sendstack, GIG, UPS, Topship, etc on their platform so they can compare prices, view delivery timelines & choose the delivery partner to help them process orders faster. 

We have partnered with them to give our customers already using them a robust and much simpler way of managing order delivery and also introduce their services to customers who may be new to their services. 

It is our hope that this partnership reduces order delivery time, errors in order-price reconciliation and takes off the stress from our Bumpreneurs. 

How Does the Bumpa-Shipbubble Partnership Make Order Fulfillment Easier for Bumpa Businesses?

- Once the connection is done, all orders from Bumpa automatically appear on Shipbubble and displace the need for manual order replication.

- Once an item has been shipped or delivered on Shipbubble, the Bumpa store of the merchant is automatically updated removing the need for the merchant to update it manually on Bumpa.

- The automatic sync between Bumpa and Shipbubble reduces errors in order detail reconciliation between both platforms that can occur when done manually.

Who is this Partnership Available To? 

Any and every Bumpreneur on a Pro or Scale plan can access the ShipBubble integration as the API Key is only available on Bumpa’s web app. 

How To Connect Your Bumpa Account to Shipbubble.

• Open your Bumpa webapp at app.getbumpa.com.

• Scroll down & click on Store on the left side of your dashboard.

• Click on API Key.

• Enter ‘Shipbubble’ as Token Name.

• Click on Generate Key.

• Click on Copy Key. 

• Open your Shipbubble account.

• Click on Web Stores.

• Click on Stores.

• Click on the Bumpa icon.

• Paste the API Key.

• Click on Connect and that’s it!

Questions: I don’t use Shipbubble yet, can I also connect to them? 

Answer: Yes, you can. Just create a Shipbubble account here and connect to your Bumpa account with the steps in the article. 

Questions: Do I have to pay on ShipBubble to be able to connect?

Answer: No. But Shipbubble has premium features you can pay for if you wish to. 

Question: How will Shipbubble know where to pick up my goods from? 

Answer: You fill in your Pick Up details on Shipbubble.

Question: Where can I see all the logistics providers available on Shipbubble? 

Answer: Check here. 

Question: When I connect to ShipBubble will it automatically paste shipping prices on my Bumpa store? 

Answer: This is a feature of the integration that is coming soon. For now, you will still update shipping fees manually, but every other part of the shipping process is automated.

Question: I have a Shipbubble account but I’m on a Bumpa Starter plan. Can I connect? 

Answer: No. You will only be able to copy and paste order & shipping details as you’ve done in the past. The benefits of this direct integration is only available to users on the Pro and Growth plan.
