What To Know Before Connecting

• You need to have a Facebook Page before connecting one to your Instagram business account.

• You need a Facebook page to run Facebook ads, so it's great if you have one.

• Facebook pages are Meta's version of an Instagram business account. Any normal account created on Facebook is a personal one. Facebook pages are the accounts businesses use to connect with their customers on Facebook and Messenger.

• You can add multiple managers to a Facebook page instead of sharing passwords to your personal account.

• Like an Instagram business account, you can get Facebook Analytics only with a Facebook Page.

• It's best to connect from your Instagram mobile app and not your browser.

How to Connect A Facebook Page to Your Instagram Business Account

• Open your Instagram app.

• Click on your Profile icon at the bottom of your screen.

• Click on the hamburger icon at the top of your screen.

• Click on Settings and Privacy.

• Scroll down and click on Business Tools and Controls.

• Click on Connect A Facebook Page

• Click on Continue

• Select the Page you want if you already have a page or Create a New Page if you don't have a Page

• Click on Done and that's it!

If you do not have an already existing page, do the following:

• Enter a Page Name

• Select Page Category preferably Entrepreneur

• Click on Create and that's all

• Click on Done when you're done
